Chiropractors generally treat ‘subluxations complexes’.  Simply put, this means that some of the joints in your spine have lost their position and\or ability to move properly which in turn can affect your nervous system. These subluxations can cause pain locally or at distant sites. You can have a headache arising from the neck, the jaw or even sometimes from other areas in the body.

The absence of pain is a poor indicator as to where the problem arises; pain is the last thing to come and the first thing to go. It is for this reason that many of our patients come to us asymptomatically, simply wanting to be at their optimum standard of health, to prevent problems from arising as opposed to waiting for them to come and then receiving treatment.
